Canam Steel Corporation in South Plainfield, New Jersey, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician III with electrical experience to join our maintenance team. You will perform preventative electrical/mechanical maintenance, troubleshoot and repair production equipment, and ensure facility equipment operates safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent. Technical school preferred.
• At least 3 years of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience.
• Able to read electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
• Able to perform electrical troubleshooting and have a knowledge of electrical controls.

Responsabilités

• Performing troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems.
• Analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment; assist with service and repair of more complex equipment.
• Repair all electrical wiring, electronic and electrical equipment (24 to 480 Volts).
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair PLC programs.
• Provide scheduled and emergency repairs to production equipment during shift.
