Job summary

Greenville Tool and Die Co. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the day shift to maintain and repair tools and machines used in production.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and keeping maintenance records to minimize downtime. The role emphasizes safety, OSHA compliance, and the ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics; candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years in industrial maintenance, with hydraulics, pneumatics, and 480V

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
Strong mechanical skills with hydraulics, pneumatics, and machine alignment.
Basic electrical troubleshooting (480V 3-phase) is a plus.
Ability to read mechanical and electrical schematics, machine manuals, and blueprints.
Forklift and overhead crane experience or certification preferred.
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and shop measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical presses, CNC mills and overhead cranes issues.
Disassemble, reassemble and test complex machines.
Electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic experience.
Understanding of PLC logic.
Maintain a safe and orderly work environment.
Ensuring compliance with OSHA and other regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
