Job summary

The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for our San Antonio distribution center. You will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair conveyor, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems to keep operations safe and efficient.

Responsibilities include programming PLC control systems, maintaining conveyors, and performing preventive maintenance. The role requires 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience, willingness to work rotating shifts, and a strong commitment to safety

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 2–3 years in industrial maintenance with PM experience in material handling systems.
State licensure or proven knowledge in Electrical, Welding, HVAC, Plumbing, electro-hydraulics or similar areas.
Willingness to work various shifts to meet business needs and provide reliable maintenance.

Responsibilities

Maintain, troubleshoot and repair building and equipment including plumbing, electrical, heating, refrigeration, sprinklers, etc.
Program and troubleshoot PLC control systems.
Install and repair conveyor systems and related equipment in the distribution center.
Perform preventative maintenance and inspect repairs to ensure safe operations.
Dismantle, replace defective parts and adjust feed mechanisms as needed.
Maintain interior/exterior facilities, docks, and equipment, including battery changes on power tools.
