Job summary

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC knowledge required.
• Knowledge of MSDS standards and lock-out/tag procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must provide own basic tools and keep the work area neat and clean.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection and repair of conveyor systems and equipment.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on air compressors, compactors, bailers, cardboard conveyors and power handling equipment.
• Inspect and repair fire protection equipment.
• Manage parts inventory and records.
• Meet with supervisor to plan future preventive maintenance.
• Collaborate with managers to improve processing productivity.
• Provide back-up for manager when absent.
• Train associates on-the-job.
