Job summary

KOHLS in Reynoldsburg, Ohio is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to efficiently coordinate and implement repairs and perform equipment and facility maintenance in a cost-effective manner.

You will inspect and repair conveyors and processing equipment daily, perform preventive maintenance on compressors, bailers, and power handling systems, and ensure fire protection equipment is operational.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment.
• Compliance with MSDS standards and lock-out/tag procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must provide own basic set of tools.
• Keep work area neat and clean.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection and repair of conveyor systems and equipment.
• Preventive maintenance of air compressors, bailers, cardboard conveyors and material handling equipment.
• Inspect and repair fire protection equipment.
• Parts administration.
• Plan for future preventive maintenance with supervisor.
• Collaborate with managers to address mechanical opportunities and improve productivity.
• Provide back-up for department Manager when absent.
• Maintain inventory records and reports.
• Provide on-the-job training to Associates.
