Job summary

KOHLS in Johnstown, OH is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician to lead and perform repairs and routine facility maintenance for cost efficiency. You will handle conveyor systems, HVAC units, electrical and plumbing upkeep, and support the team with preventative maintenance.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, parts administration, and collaboration with supervisors to plan preventive maintenance, while providing on-the-job training and backup when needed.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC equipment.
• Compliance with all MSDS standards and lock‑out/tag procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Must provide own basic set of tools and keep the work area neat and clean.

Responsibilities

• Daily inspection and repair of all conveyor systems and equipment.
• Routine inspection and preventive maintenance of air compressors, bailers and material handling equipment.
• Inspect and repair fire protection equipment and maintain inventory records.
• Provide on-the-job training and act as backup for management when needed.
• Assist outside contractors and respond promptly to jams or malfunctions.
