Job summary

Nutrien Biola, CA is seeking a Maintenance Tech to perform daily inspection and maintenance on equipment, including lubrication, rebuilding, installation, and removal, while ensuring safety and quality in a manufacturing setting. You should have 5+ years in industrial maintenance with knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, bearings, compressors and welding.

A high school diploma or GED is required; technical certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing, agricultural processing, or production environments.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment, drive systems, and production machinery.
• Experience in preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection and maintenance on assigned equipment/area, including mechanical cleaning, lubrication, rebuilding, installation, and removal
• Perform maintenance or repairs on all formulation, packaging, and other equipment as assigned without jeopardizing safety or quality
• Assist in layout, assembly, and installation of piping and pumps associated with production, to include installation, repair, and replacement of gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment as instructed
• Assist in repair and maintenance of physical structure and utilities as instructed
• Recognize baseline operating conditions for assigned equipment and understand when those conditions are not being met
• Maintain clean, safe and organized work environment at all times
• Follow all safety policies and procedures including but not limited to LOTO, confined space, hot work, line and forklift operation
