Pitney Bowes is hiring an onsite direct hire full-time Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift in Levittown, Pennsylvania.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues on industrial mail sorting equipment, including conveyors and PLC systems, aiming to reduce downtime and improve efficiency. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and reading schematics, with a Monday–Friday 10:45PM–7:15AM schedule and a $2 shift differential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Experience servicing conveyors, PLC systems, and other electromechanical production equipment.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, service manuals and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to automated equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyors, PLC systems, and other industrial electromechanical equipment.
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, sensors, relays, drives, switches, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns or emergencies.
• Utilize inventory, PM schedule, and work orders to reduce downtime.
• Maintain spare parts/supply inventory via Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Troubleshoot equipment problems and repair in a timely manner.
• Use a tablet to track work, machine downtime, and inventory used in repairs.

Pitney Bowes is hiring an onsite direct hire full-time Senior Industrial Maintenance Technician, 3rd Shift in Levittown, Pennsylvania facility.

Your hourly pay base range

$30 - $36 plus a $2 shift differential, paid weekly with possible overtime.

Your 3rd Shift work schedule

Monday through Friday from 10:45PM to 7:15AM EST.

You are a performance-driven contributor who can effectively troubleshoot, repair, or diagnose complex mechanical or electrical issues on industrial equipment. You are a self-motivated individual who seeks opportunities to improve current practices, increasing efficiency and reducing downtime of industrial mail sorting equipment.

You Will

• Perform complex mechanical and electronic repairs of conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipment (Mail Sorters/ Printers)
• Perform electrical and mechanical repairs, preventative maintenance, and installations on industrial machinery including belt/pulley systems, hydraulic and pneumatic components, motors, photo-eyes, relays, drive assemblies, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.
• Complete preventative maintenance according to industry quality standards
• Respond to equipment breakdown or emergency situations.
• Utilize inventory, pm schedule, and work order systems to effectively reduce downtime.
• Maintain the spare parts/supply inventory utilizing Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).
• Evaluate and assess equipment problems by troubleshooting and completing repairs in a timely manner.
• Utilize a tablet to track assigned work and machine downtime as well as inventory used in repair.
• Perform all additional duties as required.

Your background

• Minimum of 2 years’ direct experience troubleshooting and repairing complex industrial mechanical equipment.
• Strong familiarity servicing conveyer machines, PLC systems, and other industrial types of electromechanical production equipment
• Experience using a multi-meter or any other type of electronic testing equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, charts, service manuals, and parts diagrams.
• Familiarity with Windows PC environment as it pertains to the operation of automated equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot equipment problems, establish priorities, and work under deadline pressures.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without accommodations.
• The ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend 80% of the time with or without accommodations.
