Job summary

Pendleton Woolen Mills in Washougal, WA is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of production equipment and facility systems. This role supports Mill operations and may provide guidance to Maintenance 2 and 3 staff.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems; performing preventive maintenance; operating boilers; supporting HVAC and WWTP; reading blueprints; and

Qualifications

7+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in industrial environments.
Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install industrial machinery and equipment.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documentation; safely use tools and lifting equipment.
High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
Ability to train and guide other Maintenance staff; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test industrial machinery and facility systems.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and fluid-pumping issues and repair.
Perform preventive maintenance on production and facility equipment.
Operate and maintain boilers; lead annual boiler maintenance.
Support WWTP, HVAC, and evaporative cooling operation and repair.
Read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments.
Coordinate contractors and train Maintenance staff.
Respond to emergency breakdowns and be available for overtime and weekends.
