Job summary
Pendleton Woolen Mills (retail) is seeking a Maintenance 1 to perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of production equipment and facility systems. The role supports Mill operations and may provide guidance to Maintenance 2 and 3 employees.
Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and steam systems, reading blueprints, and using precision tools.
Qualifications
- 7+ years hands-on mechanical maintenance in industrial/manufacturing environments.
- Advanced mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and fluid-pumping principles.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical docs; follow instructions in English.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and test industrial machinery and facility systems.
- Diagnose issues and determine appropriate repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic domains.
- Perform preventive maintenance and support safety, reliability, and efficiency improvements.
- Lead and guide Maintenance 2 and Maintenance 3 personnel and coordinate their work as assigned.
