Job summary

LGI Homes is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician to ensure daily, safe and efficient operation of plant equipment, machinery, vehicles and facilities in accordance with established policies. The role offers base pay starting at $35.00 per hour plus a $2.00 shift differential and a benefits package starting after the first month of hire.

Candidate must have 7+ years of industrial maintenance experience, hold a trade school or Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance, and possess a valid

Qualifications

• Trade school or Associate’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field required.
• 7+ years in an industrial manufacturing setting required.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance checks on equipment required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced Mig, Tig, and Stick welding.
• Rebuild pumps and valves and perform ignition and combustion control.
• Perform preventive maintenance checks and work on complex equipment.
• Respond to on-call emergency repair work or after hours.
• Plans and performs projects for equipment upgrades and installations.
• Maintain and ensure safety and housekeeping in plant areas.
