Job summary

LGI Homes is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure safe, efficient operation of plant equipment, machinery, and building systems. The role covers preventive maintenance, repairs, and installation support across facilities, with a focus on maintaining high reliability and compliance with SOPs.

The candidate will perform routine electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, coordinate with vendors, and support continuous improvement initiatives in production and facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in industrial manufacturing required.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance checks on equipment required.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing manufacturing equipment required.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard exchange replacements on wear components (rail, roller, belts, fuses).
• Run descaling on cooling towers surfaces.
• Set pulley and engine alignments.
• Mentor team members and Maintenance Technician Is.
• Perform preventive maintenance including inspection, cleaning, lubrication, and checking tolerances.
