Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for 2nd shift (3pm-1am, Mon-Fri with alternate Saturdays) at our Dallas facility. You will diagnose and repair electro-mechanical equipment, perform detailed setup, and maintain pneumatic systems while adhering to Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree or equivalent experience, 7–10 years in manufacturing maintenance, and proficiency with CMMS, Word/Excel.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in related field or equivalent experience.
• 7-10 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
• Adherence to safety policies and commitment to quality.
• Available for standby, off-hours and emergency overtime.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, and CMMS systems.
• Willing to attend training, including out-of-state locations.
• Ability to train technicians at all levels.
• Read printed materials, blueprints, schematics, and computer graphics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electro-mechanical problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair mechanical components and maintain top operating condition.
• Diagnose electrical control circuits, sensors, and drives.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and repair issues.
• Complete projects adding electrical circuits and relocations.
• Maintain pneumatic systems and cylinders.
• Perform maintenance tasks following instructions.
• Enter work in CMMS and monitor spare parts usage.
• Collaborate with QA and adjust equipment based on SPC data.
• Train technicians in complex tasks and skills.
• Lead direct reports activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
