Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands seeks a Maintenance Technician II in Dallas, TX to support manufacturing operations and keep equipment in top condition. You will diagnose, repair and maintain electromechanical systems, perform setup changes, and follow safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, PLC troubleshooting ability, and proficiency with Word/Excel. Standby/overtime readiness is expected, with full-time hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of and experience with Lock-Out, Tag-Out procedures.
Able to strictly adhere to safety policies/procedures and be committed to customer quality.
Must be available for regular standby assignments; work scheduled off-hours and emergency overtime
Proficient in Word and Excel
Ability to assist in Training Level I Technicians

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems with manufacturing equipment
Perform detailed setup on equipment, including recipe changes and control adjustments
Repair and keep mechanical machine components in top operating condition
Perform simple to complex mechanical preventive maintenance Tasks following instructions
Intermediate understanding of electrical principles such as voltage, current, and resistance
Diagnose and repair electrical control circuits, field devices, sensors, photo eyes, etc
Troubleshoot the inputs and outputs on PLC and repair issues
