Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking an Extrusion Maintenance Technician II for 1st shift to support our manufacturing lines in Dallas, TX. This electro-mechanical role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining extrusion equipment, including PLCs and control circuits, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

The position requires at least 3 years of manufacturing maintenance experience, ability to work standby and overtime, and proficiency in Word and Excel for documentation

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Lock-Out/Tag-Out procedures and safety policies.
• Ability to work standby shifts and overtime as needed.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex electromechanical problems on manufacturing equipment.
• Perform detailed setup on equipment including recipe changes and control adjustments.
• Repair and maintain mechanical components to keep equipment in top condition.
• Troubleshoot PLC inputs/outputs and electrical control circuits.
• Assist in training Level I Technicians.
