Job summary

Testing Engineers & Consultants, Inc. in Michigan seeks a seasoned Manager, Industrial Hygiene Services to lead projects, mentor staff and strengthen client relationships.

The role combines project ownership, technical oversight of asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality programs, and collaboration with engineers, environmental professionals, technicians and clients to drive growth of TEC’s IH practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive industrial hygiene and/or environmental health experience.
• Experience with exposure assessment, workplace monitoring, sampling methodologies, and interpretation of analytical results.
• Demonstrated experience with asbestos, lead-based paint, and mold assessments and management, including surveys, sampling, reporting, and coordination of abatement or remediation activities.

Responsibilities

• Manage IH and environmental health projects from scope to completion, including scheduling and budgets.
• Conduct and oversee surveys, exposure assessments, and workplace monitoring for hazards.
• Provide technical oversight for asbestos, lead-based paint, mold, and indoor air quality projects.
