NTH Consultants, Ltd. is seeking a senior Project Director to lead the Industrial Hygiene Department across multiple Michigan offices. The role focuses on managing personnel, client relationships, budgeting, and regulatory compliance while expanding the IH services portfolio.

You will oversee project planning, QA/QC, and safety program execution, with a strong emphasis on growth, quality, and a collaborative work culture within a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering or related field.
• 15+ years leadership experience in civil/environmental consulting.
• Experience with project planning and budgeting.
• Experience negotiating scope and fees with clients.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in Michigan.
• Strong written and oral communication and QA/QC reviews.

Aufgaben

• Lead and manage the Industrial Hygiene Department within the Environmental Division.
• Supervise industrial hygienists and technical staff.
• Plan staffing, allocate resources, and support staff development.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, high-performing work environment.
• Grow industrial hygiene consulting services and client base.
• Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, profitability.
• Review technical reports, sampling protocols, and recommendations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and QA/QC procedures.
• Develop proposals, fees, and strategic growth opportunities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and cross-sell services.
• Manage departmental budgets, revenue, expenses, and utilization.
• Oversee equipment and calibration programs.
• Promote safety culture with Safety Director.
