Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation in Englewood, CO seeks a Safety Manager I to lead the development and implementation of advanced HSE programs, drive regulatory compliance, and mentor a team of safety professionals across the organization.

You will oversee industrial hygiene, exposure monitoring, respiratory protection, confined space and fall protection initiatives, and ensure safety across multiple locations in aviation manufacturing environments while advancing a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field as minimum education.
• CIH certification or ability to obtain within 1 year of hire.
• Proven IH/HSE program development and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of relevant federal, state, and local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial hygiene program ownership across hazards.
• Oversee exposure monitoring and trend analysis for prevention.
• Develop and manage respiratory protection, confined space, and fall protection programs.
• Ensure OSHA and local regulatory compliance across locations.
• Provide training and mentorship to HSE and operational teams.
• Collaborate to improve health protection and safety culture.
