Job summary

Sierra Nevada Corporation (SNC) seeks a Safety Manager I to lead the development and implementation of advanced HSE programs, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving safety improvements across multiple sites. You will mentor HSE teams and guide exposure control initiatives.

The role focuses on industrial hygiene program maturity, cross‑functional collaboration, and proactive risk mitigation in aerospace and defense environments. Centennial, CO location with competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 7+ years in industrial hygiene or HSE.
• CIH certification or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• Experience leading IH/HSE programs and teams.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
• Experience in IH surveys and exposure assessments.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork and safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead industrial hygiene program ownership to control hazards.
• Oversee exposure monitoring and trend analysis.
• Develop and manage respiratory protection, confined space, fall protection, heat illness prevention, and medical surveillance.
• Ensure OSHA and local regulatory compliance across locations.
• Provide training and mentorship to HSE and operations teams.
• Collaborate to improve health protection and IH program maturity.
