Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Senior Industrial Engineer to lead engineering-driven initiatives across Distribution Center Operations and Transportation. You will manage ideation, business case development, implementation, and value realization with onsite collaboration across corporate and site teams.

Requirements include 4+ years in process and material handling design, a BS in Industrial Engineering, and strong data-analysis skills. Travel up to 25% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in process and material handling system projects.
• BS in Industrial Engineering.
• Independent work capability with minimal supervision.
• Time study methodologies and work measurement experience.
• Experience in productivity improvement and cost reduction.
• Data collection systems and Standard Data.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio.
• SQL and BI tools experience.
• Experience with Manhattan Associates SCS and Dematic WCS.

Responsibilities

• Identify productivity and process improvement opportunities via data analysis.
• Lead DMAIC projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop project plans with milestones and timelines.
• Create charters and Gantt charts for alignment.
• Support design and implementation of material handling equipment.
• Validate hypotheses with ROI and cost/benefit analyses.
• Ensure smooth transition of project ownership to operations.
