Job summary

The Heico Corporation seeks an Industrial Engineer to support production process improvements by analyzing workflows and implementing efficient layouts. You will work with the lean team to reduce costs, develop standard work, and enhance control systems.

Responsibilities include PFMEA mindset adoption and cross-functional problem solving to optimize outputs. Qualifications include a bachelor's in Industrial Engineering (preferred), 2+ years in production, and strong English communication;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering (preferred).
• Master's degree in manufacturing related engineering is a plus.
• Minimum 2 years in production environment.
• Aerospace and defense electronics experience preferred.
• Read/Write Fluently in English; Spanish speaking a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive out cost through process improvements and documented standard work instructions.
• Designs, redesigns or enhances work areas and layouts with respect for ergonomics and waste elimination.
• Maintains knowledge of best practices in manufacturing methods and trends.
• Collaborates with lean team to improve process flow.
• Develops and maintains management information, planning and control systems.
• Implements methods to reduce production costs.
• Performs time studies to level load the manufacturing process.
• Implements PFMEA mindset and process for operators.
• Work across the organization to solve problems related to process outputs.
• Develops, implements and communicates best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
