Qualifications

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 3 years experience, or 9 years if no degree.

Responsibilities

Analyze production workflows, facility layouts and equipment utilization to improve efficiency.
Develop and optimize labor standards, routings and work instructions.
Conduct time studies, capacity analyses, line balancing and ergonomic assessments.
Identify waste and non-value-added activities and implement corrective actions.
Create and maintain value stream maps, process flow diagrams and standard work documentation.
Lead employee training and mentor team members on process improvements.
Design and optimize factory layouts using DraftSight or AutoCAD to enhance production flow.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean principles.
