Job summary

Yanfeng is seeking an Industrial Engineer to own plant layout accuracy and ensure alignment with Floor Space Planning Tool, while coordinating AutoCAD standards across the facility. The role emphasizes lean flow improvements and integrating new business layouts (Phase 2–5) with PFEP-based warehouse planning.

You will support indirect/direct labor planning, use Flow Planner software, and contribute to value stream mapping and continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of engineering experience.
• 3 years in the automotive industry preferred.
• Ability to travel to customer sites and plants.
• AutoCAD experience is essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Current plant layout ownership – ensure accuracy and alignment with Floor Space Planning Tool (FSPT).
• Align plant layout drawing with AutoCAD standards.
• Lead lean flow proposals to improve facility flow.
• Support new business layout for Phase 2–5.
• Plan PFEP-based warehouse requirements.
• Indirect labor planning using Flow Planner software.
• Support Materials & SCM with line side decisions and kitting.
• Adhere to internal logistics guidelines and material flow standards.
• Value Stream Mapping for current and future state with gap closure.
• Kaizen leadership for lean flow and floor space utilization.
• Direct labor time studies (MODAPTS) and line balancing.
• Review Process Book with AME for new programs.
• Indirect labor time studies and work sampling.
• Maintenance of MODAPTS/time studies database.
• Support key improvement initiatives and IE projects.
