Family Dollar is hiring a Sr. Industrial Engineer to join our nationwide Distribution Center network. You will drive labor management initiatives and lead process improvements to boost efficiency and cut costs.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in industrial or systems engineering within distribution operations, with strong data analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and project leadership to deliver measurable savings.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering is required.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial/process engineering in logistics; 5 years preferred.
• Experience with labor standards tools and time studies (MOST).
• Strong data analysis skills with Tableau/Power BI/Excel.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% and relocate within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Standardize and document best-in-class procedures across the logistics network.
• Lead labor standards development and LMS analytics.
• Drive process improvements to reduce cost per case and expand capacity.
• Analyze performance data and address root causes of gaps.
• Partner with Operations, Safety, Quality, IT, and Finance on initiatives.
• Support DC expansions, startups, and network optimization.
