Job summary

Associated Materials Innovations—part of Associated Materials, LLC—seeks an Industrial Engineer to drive operational excellence in our North American manufacturing operations. You will apply Lean and continuous improvement to boost productivity, reduce costs, and optimize material flow across the plant.

Collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to implement standard work, improve safety, and enhance overall performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 5–10 years manufacturing experience with process improvements
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Six Sigma certification preferred
• Strong analytical and project management skills, MS Office/data analysis tools

Responsibilities

• Drive Continuous Improvement and lean initiatives across operations.
• Lead Kaizen events, Value Stream Mapping, and waste elimination.
• Implement 5S, Standard Work, Visual Management, SMED, Kanban, Poka-Yoke.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Conduct time studies and develop labor standards to boost productivity.
• Support line balancing, capacity planning, and throughput improvements.
• Improve manufacturing processes, layouts, and material flow.
• Develop dashboards and data-driven decision tools.
• Manage improvement projects to meet cost, schedule, and performance targets.
• Develop equipment specs and cost analyses to enhance performance.
• Train teams in Lean tools and best practices
