Job summary

Rivian is seeking a Sr. Industrial Engineer, Distribution Center Process Development to design, standardize, and manage warehouse processes across the network.

You will collaborate with IT (SAP EWM) and operations to deliver scalable, on-site improvements with a bias to action. Leading cross-functional teams, you’ll map processes from slotting to shipping, develop KPIs, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring programs stay on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience; Master’s Preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in project/program management or process improvement.
• Experience in distribution or warehousing process management and standardization.
• Expertise in SAP EWM and WMS processes including slotting, pick/putaway, and master data.
• Lean methodologies and visual management with continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Map, design, and standardize warehouse processes (End to End DC).
• Collaborate with IT to translate business requirements for SAP EWM capabilities.
• Set roadmaps for warehouse capabilities balancing short- and long-term needs.
• Develop KPI tracking at Distribution Centers for continuous improvement.
• Drive projects to completion within budget and on time.
• Partner with multiple teams across geographies to scale Rivian’s service network.
