Job summary

Rivian seeks a Sr. Industrial Engineer, Distribution Center Process Development to develop, implement, and manage standardized warehouse processes across Rivian’s distribution network.

On-site at the warehouse at least 3 days a week, you will partner with IT to translate business requirements into SAP EWM capabilities and lead continuous improvement initiatives. The role requires a bias to action, independent judgment, and the ability to drive projects to completion on time and within budget,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 3+ years in project/program management or process improvement.
• Experience in distribution/warehousing processes and standardization.
• Expertise in WMS, preferably SAP EWM, incl. slotting, put-away, priority logic.

Responsibilities

• Map, design, and standardize warehouse processes (slotting, put-away, pick/pack, kitting, shipping).
• Collaborate with IT to translate business requirements for SAP EWM capabilities.
• Develop roadmaps for warehouse capabilities to enable scalable distribution networks.
• Track KPIs at Distribution Centers to drive improvements.
• Serve as liaison between business/operations and IT development teams.
