Job summary
James Hardie is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance team. You will be responsible for repairs and maintenance for all machinery and equipment, including conveyor systems, hydraulic components, and machine control.
You will perform electrical/mechanical tests, service boiler and HVAC equipment, and maintain records in the plant CMMS. The role requires strong troubleshooting skills and a proven track record in industrial electrical work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years industrial electrical experience.
- 5+ years Allen-Bradley PLC experience (ControlLogix or PLC-5).
- Experience with WonderWare or other industrial HMI software is a bonus.
- Proven mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
- Ability to read OEM/technical literature.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical/mechanical tests to determine the exact cause of issues.
- Maintain equipment and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
- Track and maintain labor, parts, and machine history in plant CMMS.
- Operate and service plant boiler, autoclaves and other HVAC equipment.
- Coordinate with departments to resolve day-to-day maintenance issues.
