Job summary

James Hardie Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance team. You will be responsible for repairs and maintenance of all machinery, conveyors, hydraulics, and control systems across our plants.

The role requires at least five years of industrial electrical experience and strong AB PLC proficiency, with knowledge of HMIs like WonderWare viewed as a bonus. You will support multiple departments to ensure reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years industrial electrical experience.
• At least 5 years of Allen-Bradley PLC experience (ControlLogix or PLC-5 preferred).
• Experience with HMI software such as WonderWare is a plus.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical/mechanical tests to identify root causes.
• Maintain equipment and repair or replace defective parts as needed.
• Track labor, parts, and machine history in CMMS.
• Operate plant boiler, autoclaves and HVAC equipment.
• Provide cross-department support to resolve daily maintenance issues.
