Job summary

Dynomax Inc. in Wheeling, IL, is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician - Level III to maintain and service our state-of-the-art equipment and facilities.

You will read electrical schematics, assemble maintenance components, test systems with meters and scopes, troubleshoot malfunctions, and support integration of new machinery. Candidates should have strong technical skills and good communication to collaborate across teams.

Qualifications

• Ability to read electrical schematics and determine assembly, wiring and service needs.
• Hands-on experience with electrical maintenance components of industrial departments.
• Familiarity with plant maintenance and electrical safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics and work instructions to determine assembly, wiring and service of machinery
• Assemble and configure electrical maintenance components of the department
• Plant Maintenance (Electrical)
• Test electrical/electronic systems in equipment using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards or defects and ensure compliance with specs
• Provide electrical support during debugging, integration, and acceptance
• Participate in tear-down and shipping of finished equipment
• Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems or components using test equipment and hand tools to locate and correct the problem
• Participate in the integration/debugging of electronic systems of machinery
