Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. seeks an experienced Industrial and Electrical Designer to contribute to a range of design tasks for medium-sized projects. The role requires independent judgment in evaluating and adapting standard design techniques and criteria on assignments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in design, strong English communication, and the ability to coordinate with engineers and designers while delivering accurate sketches, specifications, and design drawings.

Qualifications

• Must read, understand, and speak fluent English.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical material.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and manuals.
• Ability to present information to groups of clients, managers and engineers.
• Strong mathematical and geometric reasoning helpful for design.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• May provide coordination or technical guidance to designers, specialists and engineers.
• Prepares sketches for a detailed segment of a project.
• Prepares technical specifications for review and approval.
• Evaluates bids and drawings to ensure compliance with specs.
• Produces design drawings for assigned project segment.
• Monitors subcontracted technical services activities.
• Assists with development of design guides and control procedures.
• Assists with calculations.
