Job summary

ISC Constructors, L.L.C. is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support the development of electrical designs for complex engineering and construction projects.

The role involves creating design deliverables and coordinating with engineers, vendors, and project teams to ensure constructible outcomes. Responsibilities include reviewing vendor drawings, developing specifications, and supporting calculations.

Qualifications

• Ten years of electrical design experience or equivalent working knowledge.
• Experience developing electrical designs for industrial, manufacturing, energy, or other complex facilities and projects.
• Proficiency with CAD and computer-based engineering/design software.
• Ability to read and develop electrical drawings, technical specifications, and design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design drawings, layouts, sketches, and other project deliverables.
• Prepare designs from engineering information, project requirements, and applicable standards.
• Develop and update technical specifications for review and approval.
• Review vendor drawings and technical information for compliance with project requirements.
• Support design calculations and technical documentation.
• Coordinate design activities with engineers, other designers, vendors, and project disciplines.
• Assist with development and application of design standards, specifications, and design-control procedures.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Provide technical guidance to less-experienced design personnel when appropriate.
• Participate in field visits as needed to verify existing conditions and support design development.
