Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring for an Industrial Designer III in Bellevue, WA. The role focuses on standardizing core design and process elements to enable scalable network growth across North America Logistics.

You will drive Lean projects, optimize CTQ, and coordinate with Tech/Software teams to implement software enhancements. Responsibilities include redesigning inbound/outbound processes, improving ergonomics at shipping stations, and reducing production cycle times through root-cause

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Operations Management or related discipline with 5 years in the role or related occupation.
• Alternatively, Bachelor’s degree with 7 years of postbaccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Drive standardization and documentation of core design and process elements for scalable network growth.
• Plan and design systems that increase CTQ and meet business needs by improving integration of people, materials, equipment, software, and finance.
• Redesign inbound/outbound processes, evaluate ergonomic needs for shipping clerk workstations, and conduct capacity planning for peak season.
• Assess and optimize processes and equipment in the Delivery Station.
• Recommend changes to safety procedures, work methods, and labor standards.
• Determine root causes of defects via data analysis and process observation.
• Manage, execute, measure and communicate project impact with site leaders.
