Aii Systems is seeking a Controls Engineer III in the United States (McEwen, TN) to lead design, development, and implementation of advanced industrial control systems for diverse clients. You will work with project teams to deliver robust solutions, ensuring safe, efficient operation of industrial processes.

The role requires hands-on robotics and automation experience, PLC/HMI programming, and strong knowledge of industrial networks. Occasional field work and travel up to 25% are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, or computer engineering (master’s preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Certified Controls Engineer (CCE) are a plus.
• Eight+ years in controls engineering or related field; travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement control strategies for automated systems and processes.
• Develop control systems with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and robotic components.
• Program and configure PLCs, HMIs, and industrial robots.
• Ensure safe operation and OSHA/industry compliance.
• Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and system architecture.
• Prepare technical documentation and maintain project records.
