Job summary

Swire Coca-Cola is seeking a Senior Plant Controls Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, install and optimize control systems on production lines in Tempe, AZ. You will lead technicians, configure industrial networks, and program equipment to meet production demands.

The ideal candidate holds a relevant bachelor's degree (or equivalent), with strong knowledge of PLC/HMI/SCADA systems and Allen-Bradley platforms, plus experience with sensors, servo motors and VFDs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Electrical engineering degree is preferred.
HS diploma and Controls Systems Certification required.
Proficiency with PLC/HMI/SCADA programming, electrical design and VFDs is expected.
Strong knowledge of Allen-Bradley PLCs, HMIs and networks.
Experience with instrumentation, sensors and servo motors is essential.

Responsibilities

Inspect and troubleshoot control equipment to maximize line efficiency.
Direct maintenance technicians in installing control equipment.
Install, maintain and replace control equipment leveraging internal knowledge and vendors.
Train electricians and maintenance staff on electrical controls.
Configure and maintain industrial networks (Ethernet, Devicenet, Controlnet, DH+, Remote I/O).
Program control equipment to meet production demands.
Perform other duties as assigned.
