Job summary

ATI Millersburg seeks a Senior Controls Engineer to lead design, development, and deployment of equipment control systems across multiple manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with vendors, manage integration projects, and deliver robust control architectures tailored to customer specs.

The role requires strong expertise in electrical/controls engineering, experience with DeltaV DCS and Allen-Bradley PLCs, and the ability to produce thorough documentation and software for installation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum 5 years of industrial experience.
• Experience with NEC & OESC, equipment specification, controls interface, and project management assignments.
• Familiarity with Delta V DCS, Allen Bradley PLC, TCP/IP database design, MS Office and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement equipment control systems to improve plant efficiency.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and suppliers for equipment selection, purchasing, and installation.
• Design machine control system architecture to fit customer needs and specs.
• Develop network systems to support distributed control and data collection.
• Create system documentation including electrical drawings, diagrams, block diagrams, and references.
• Write machine control software to support installation, integration and improvements.
• Administer and develop computer operating system and application software.
• Communicate project status, costs, and schedules to management and stakeholders.
