Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Senior Control Systems Engineer to design, implement and verify nonsafety industrial control systems for global projects. The role blends hardware and software strengths and reports to the Control & Information System Engineering manager in a hybrid Cranberry, PA setting.

You will lead technical reviews, mentor junior staff, and collaborate with software, hardware, cybersecurity, and field teams to deliver reliable, secure control solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 5–10 years in industrial control systems engineering.
• Experience with PLC/DCS or industrial control platforms.
• Depth in either hardware design or software development.
• Experience with requirements development and verification in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with P&IDs, loop diagrams, system architecture diagrams, and test docs.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement industrial control system solutions per requirements.
• Translate system requirements into control designs within scope.
• Develop control strategies, logic, cabinets, and HMI functionality.
• Specify and integrate controllers, IO, networks, power distribution, and interfaces.
• Develop engineering documentation and procedures for lifecycle.
• Plan and execute verification and validation activities.
