Actalent is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex industrial construction projects from planning through closeout on active job sites in St. Louis, MO.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, safety, and quality while coordinating with diverse stakeholders to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes. The role emphasizes hands-on site leadership, strong communication with clients and teams, and a track record of delivering large-scale projects in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• PMP certification or an equivalent project management credential.
• Minimum 7 years of hands-on project management experience in industrial construction environments.
• Demonstrated experience working on active construction sites, with a strong preference for field-based experience.
• Deep understanding of industrial construction processes, sequencing, and site logistics.
• Proven track record managing complex industrial projects from inception through completion.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to direct multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with stakeholders ranging from field crews to Senior executives.
• Exceptional attention to detail in documentation, scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Thorough knowledge of construction safety standards, including OSHA regulations, and a strong commitment to maintaining safe job sites.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and sound judgment in high-pressure, fast-paced site conditions.
• Firm understanding of the industrial construction management space and its unique operational requirements.
• Proficiency in core project management and construction management practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead all phases of industrial construction projects from planning through execution and closeout.
• Maintain a regular and visible presence on active construction sites to oversee daily operations.
• Coordinate and direct the work of contractors, subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary client contact, communicating status, risks, and milestones clearly.
• Manage project budgets, including forecasting, tracking, and variance analysis.
• Develop and monitor detailed project schedules with milestones and sequencing.
• Enforce strict safety protocols and promote a safety-first culture on site.
• Oversee quality control to ensure work meets specifications and standards.
• Prepare, review, and maintain project documentation and closeout materials.
• Identify risks early and develop mitigation strategies in high- pace environments.
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among field crews, design teams, and executives.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects balancing priorities and resources.
• Support lean construction and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan site logistics, material deliveries, and sequencing to maximize efficiency.
• Participate in meetings and provide professional updates and recommendations.
