Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager to lead industrial facility projects including distribution centers, fresh food production facilities, bakehouses, and new retail concepts.

You will oversee design development, FF&E, construction, and commissioning, ensuring high-quality execution and optimal space for product capacity. The role requires 7+ years in project management or related fields, a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), and ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor concurrent projects with focus on quality, service and communication.
• Identify risks early and mitigate impacts to maintain schedule and budget.
• Influence and communicate with internal and external partners to meet project goals.
• Participate in design development to ensure constructability and cost efficiency.
• Clarify scope ownership and coordinate field activities for faster delivery and cost control.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, permits, and inspections with GC critical path.
• Build relationships with municipalities and manage entitlement/permit timelines.
• Travel to job sites up to 50% of the time.
