Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sr. Construction Manager for the Worldwide Grocery Real Estate & Store Development (WWGRD) team. You will lead construction for industrial facilities, including distribution centers and production spaces, ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams and external partners in a dynamic, ambiguous environment. The successful candidate has 7+ years in PM/real estate development with strong communication,

Qualifications

7+ years of project management, real estate development, architecture/design experience.
Bachelor's degree, or 7+ years of equivalent experience.
Experience in project management, real estate development, architecture/design.

Responsibilities

Ensure overall project quality across DD, FF&E, Construction and Commissioning.
Organize and monitor concurrent projects with high quality, service and communication to meet deadlines.
Identify risks early and mitigate impact on project scope and schedule.
Influence and communicate with internal and external partners; negotiate tradeoffs as required.
Participate in design development to ensure constructability and cost targets; improve speed to market.
Clarify scope and coordinate field activities to improve speed to market and cost controls.
Ensure contractor accountability, better cost performance, and management of schedule including permitting lead times.
Understand municipalities entitlement/permit processes and schedules.
Travel to job sites up to 50% of the time as project load demands.
