Job summary

CSG Talent seeks an experienced Senior Automation & Software Engineering Manager to drive automation, controls, and manufacturing technology across operations in a high-volume beef processing environment.

You will lead a team of engineers and specialists, advancing safety, throughput, yield, quality, and reliability while collaborating with Operations, IT, Maintenance, and Quality to deliver measurable value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Automation/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in industrial automation, controls, or manufacturing software.
• Experience leading engineers or technical teams in a high-volume environment.
• Strong understanding of OT-IT integration and industrial cybersecurity.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and execution of industrial automation across beef processing operations.
• Provide technical leadership for PLC, HMI, SCADA, robotics, sensors, and networks.
• Develop software and data systems supporting manufacturing operations and dashboards.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing team of engineers and specialists.
• Manage external vendors and partners; establish governance and ROI analyses.
