Job summary

CSG Talent is seeking a Director of Engineering & Maintenance for a senior leadership role in a United States manufacturing operation. You will oversee engineering, maintenance, reliability, utilities, facilities, automation and capital-project activities to ensure safe, reliable, efficient and compliant production.

You will bring extensive experience in high-volume, regulated food environments and lead multi-year asset strategies.

Qualifications

Senior leadership experience in engineering and maintenance in manufacturing.
Experience in high-volume, regulated environments (food/meat/poultry or similar).
Strong background in asset reliability, preventive/predictive maintenance and capital projects.

Responsibilities

Lead engineering and maintenance across the manufacturing operation.
Develop asset-management and reliability strategies with KPIs (OEE, MTBF, MTTR).
Drive safety, HACCP, and regulatory compliance across facilities.
Oversee capital projects, automation initiatives and technology upgrades.
Partner with Operations to reduce downtime, waste and improve yield and productivity.
Build a high-performing maintenance organization and talent pipeline.
Manage budgets, staffing and vendor/contractor relationships.
Develop annual and multi-year maintenance plans and budgets.
Ensure food-safety and sanitation are integral to engineering work.
Drive continuous improvement and Lean/TPM initiatives.
