Job summary
Omron Automation-Americas is seeking a Repair Technician to diagnose, repair, and test Omron products across motion, PLC, HMI, barcode, vision, and safety technologies, including Delta Tau and MicroScan equipment. The role requires ownership of repair tasks, structured troubleshooting, and thorough documentation.
The candidate will support the Dallas Repair Center, maintain test equipment, and collaborate with engineers to improve repair quality and efficiency. Travel up to 25% is possible.
Qualifications
- Five years of professional repair experience in technical repair of industrial automation equipment.
- Experience repairing Delta Tau and MicroScan products, motion control, HMIs, PLCs, barcode, vision and safety products.
- Soldering certification is preferred and strong documentation and communication skills are required.
Responsibilities
- Manage the RMA backlog and support Dallas Repair Center operations.
- Repair Omron products across motion, controllers, HMIs, PLCs, barcode, vision, safety, and automation; include Delta Tau and MicroScan.
- Test, calibrate, and configure repaired devices; document results and deviations.
