Job summary

Omron is seeking a Repair Technician at the Dallas Repair Center to repair Omron products across motion, PLCs, HMIs, barcode, vision, safety, and automation. The role involves diagnosing complex failures, testing repaired devices, and maintaining test benches to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

Applicants should have an engineering or electronics background with at least five years in technical repair, including industrial automation equipment. Travel is up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, or a related field, or electronics technician training.
• Soldering certification preferred.
• At least five years of professional repair experience.
• Experience repairing industrial automation equipment (Delta Tau, MicroScan, motion, HMIs, PLCs).

Responsibilities

• Repair Omron products across motion, controllers, HMIs, PLCs, barcode, vision, safety, and automation.
• Diagnose complex failures with structured troubleshooting and test benches.
• Perform SMT board-level repairs by diagnosing faults and replacing components.
• Document repair steps and test results; certify repairs per procedures.
