Job summary

iRhythm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation and Controls Engineer to lead PLC programming, HMI/SCADA development, and networked automation solutions at our Cypress, CA site.

You will design and deploy robust control systems for manufacturing, integrate with MES/ERP as needed, and collaborate across mechanical, electrical, IT, and production teams to ensure safe, reliable operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in automation and controls engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Engineering.
• Strong programming skills in C/C++, Python, and ladder logic; robotics and instrumentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider).
• Develop and maintain control logic for manufacturing and industrial processes.
• Configure and maintain industrial networks and cybersecurity practices.
