Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking a Senior Manager, Indirect Tax to lead our indirect tax function, overseeing compliance, reporting, planning, audits, and risk management. You will partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, and other stakeholders to implement scalable tax processes, ERP tax configuration, and advisory support for strategic initiatives.

The role requires deep knowledge of sales and use tax, VAT/GST and related taxes, plus strong leadership to build a resilient, data-driven indirect tax

Qualifications

• Extensive indirect tax knowledge across sales/use tax, VAT/GST.
• Experience with ERP and indirect tax tech platforms.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead indirect tax compliance & reporting across the organization.
• Provide tax advisory and planning support for strategic initiatives.
• Oversee audits, tax risk management, and responses to authorities.
• Drive systems and process improvements in tax technology and data.
