Job summary

Netflix is seeking a US Indirect Tax Senior Analyst to own compliance, audits, and research across multiple tax types. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to drive process improvements while handling multiple priorities.

Location is Los Angeles (preferred) or Los Gatos, CA, with a hybrid schedule (3x in-office per week). Compensation ranges from $160,000 to $245,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits and stock option opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in state and local/indirect tax, including sales/use tax audit and compliance work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Track record of identifying and driving process improvements in indirect tax operations.
• Strong analytical skills and experience handling large transactional data sets.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales and use tax audits from notice through resolution with auditors.
• Prepare and review sales/use, gross receipts, and other transaction taxes filings across jurisdictions.
• Perform Month End accounting reviews and journal entries for tax reclassification.
• Coordinate data deliverables for Unclaimed Property Compliance with AP, Payroll, and Production Finance.
• Support personal and real property tax audits, including responding to information requests.
