Job summary

Andersen is hiring a Senior Manager of Tax Transformation and Innovation - Indirect Tax Automation in Chicago. You will lead the evaluation, selection, and implementation of tax determination engines for clients transforming indirect tax operations.

You will guide technical assessments, vendor negotiations, and change management, ensuring seamless integration with ERP and finance processes. Strong communication and cross-functional leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or related field.
• Advanced certifications (CPA, PMP, or vendor certs) preferred.
• Minimum 8 years indirect tax experience including tax engine implementations and advisory engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation and implementation of tax determination engines for indirect tax automation.
• Manage vendor selection processes including RFPs, demos, testing, and business cases.
• Design implementation strategies for tax engines including data setup and system integration.
• Develop detailed technical specifications for tax engine deployment.
• Create implementation roadmaps with milestones and resource plans.
• Provide guidance during vendor negotiations and change management.
