Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a tax professional to manage sales and use tax compliance, exemption certificate administration, and tax research. You will support audits, assist procurement and finance teams, and help ensure accurate reporting across jurisdictions.

The role requires a bachelor's in accounting or related field and 5 years of indirect tax experience, with CPA/Taxation credentials preferred. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Accounting/Finance/Taxation or related field.
• 5 years of direct sales and use tax or indirect tax experience.
• Experience with multi-jurisdictional tax returns and exemption management.
• CPA or taxation credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly/quarterly/annual sales and use tax returns.
• Administer exemption certificates and research taxability.
• Support audits, notices, and potential refund opportunities.
• Provide guidance to procurement, AP, and finance teams.
