The Marvin Group, including Marvin Engineering (MEC), seeks an experienced Buyer IV to support indirect procurement. You will handle purchases for software licenses, IT infrastructure, travel, facilities, and capital equipment, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency. Strong negotiation and cross-functional communication are essential.

Role emphasizes independent problem solving, process development, and maintaining vendor relationships at a fast-paced onsite environment in Inglewood, CA.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years prior experience as a buyer or related role, or AA/AS with 2 years in purchasing or sales with negotiation.
• Strong ability to work independently to solve complex problems.
• Proven negotiation skills with a history of success.
• Experience in multiple indirect procurement areas (travel, software, IT, facilities, capital equipment, temp services, leases, etc.).
• Familiarity with data analysis in Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsabilités

• Review PRs, source vendors, ensure competitive bidding, and negotiate best value.
• Develop new procurement processes and tools for indirect procurement activities.
• Draft and approve purchase orders and negotiate contracts.
• Maintain supplier relationships and resolve disputes with vendors.
• Track on-time delivery and progress of software or projects.
